Atlanta College Tour ’18- Day 1

We woke up at 4 a.m. to head to the Oakland Airport to catch the plane to Atlanta Georgia. We traveled with Southwest Airlines, which had wonderful customer service. They made sure that we were taken care of and offered complimentary snacks and drinks. This hospitality made the plane ride go much smoother since we were taken care and didn’t have to worry about buying stuff on the plane. The seats were even comfortable, compared to other airlines, to the point where I was able to sleep on the plane with feeling sore or squeezed into a small area. Once we arrived in Atlanta we headed to hotel to check in and afterwards we drove around just to go sightseeing. We stop by the Atlanta Ferris wheel and took pictures, also we saw a carriage being pulled by a horse which I thought was pretty neat since I have only seem that in movies. Afterwards we drove  by Morehouse, Spelman, and Clark Atlanta to view what we were going to check out on Tuesday. In the middle of the drive I fell asleep and didn’t wake up until we stopped at a Walgreens for people to get stuff, then it was time to go back to the hotel and call it a night. I think my highlight of the day was seeing all the trees while leaving the airport since it was a different from the Bay Area. Tomorrow, I am anticipate Alabama State since I don’t know much about that college and it could be a college worth mentioning to friends who have yet to apply to college.
