Day 1: First time flyer

NYC College Tour

As my parents dropped me off at the airport, I was anxious to get on the airplane. I was looking forward to getting over with the lift off, air pressure, air sickness and other bad things I was told about flying. I wasn’t nervous because I had Ms.Regina with me; Also Chyroh was also a first-time flyer and, I have known her for many years. I was mostly excited because I never thought I was going to have the opportunity to leave the state. On the first flight, the attendants were so nice they even gave me a certificate. We let them know we were first time fliers and they went out of their way to make sure our first flight was comforting. When we had to take our second airplane to new york I was more excited to land in NYC than the ride. I couldn’t wait to just see the city with my own eyes. When the airplane was flying by Queens it felt unreal. I am so far from home was the first thought that crossed my mind.I was happy that this was something new, no one knew who I was. I can’t express how in awe I was. The buildings and structure remind me of San Francisco. When we got to the hotel our view was so breathtaking. When looking out the window from the 18th floor you can see two huge buildings and it has a lot going on day or night. We just came from walking to times square. It was so bright and had a lot going on at the same time. I can’t wait to go back. I was surprised how calm everything was but I am looking forward to exploring this city. This day was more about exploring and trying new things and I loved it! I can’t wait for this week because we will do more exploring and trying new things.
