Student Reflection on Atlanta by Shakir Carminer

“My first impressions were that there were a lot of black people and the airport was huge. As we were leaving to get the rental car I realized how similar their air train was similar to Bart. I also noticed how much cleaner Atlanta’s streets are, as well as how friendly the citizens are, compared to Oakland. I was really eager to go to Cascade Skating because it looked so fun on the movie ATL, even though I can’t skate well. When we got there the place was full of fun vibes and energy. Everyone was very social, which made the experience even better. Although almost everyone in there seemed like a pro-skater, I still had fun.”
