Anticipation and Travel……………. (Can’t wait for Tomorrow) FL ’18

I woke up Sunday morning at 4:30 am to make sure that I packed everything that I needed and was prepared to leave for the airport. Once I arrived at the airport,  Ms.Regina and I walked in together and conversed a bit. She then taught me how to print my boarding pass & check in a bag. After waiting for a few minutes, we connected with Ja’Kori, Malik & Christian who are also attending the college tour. When everyone was doing printing their boarding pass, we began to walk through TSA & then proceeded to our gate. Boarding the plane was a very simple and easy process as well as taking off. The staff on the aircraft was very comforting and pleasant. They were really aware and checked in with me and other passengers frequently. This is not my first time flying with Southwest and I am proud to say that every time I fly, I receive great customer service.
Two hours later we arrived in Houston and met Alice who works for Southwest and was kind enough to take a picture with us. After meeting Alice, we were able to eat lunch and waited about an hour and a half for our flight to Jacksonville. Again, the flight crew was amazing. No complaints at all. The flight itself was a bit bumpy towards the end which was scary but we managed to get through it and land safety. After exiting the plane, we headed over to baggage claim and picked up Ms.Regina’s and Malik’s luggage. While waiting on the rental car, me and the three boys were talking among ourselves about how excited we were to be in Florida.
Once we packed our luggage in the car, we drove about 2 hours and 30 minutes to Tallahassee in a rain storm. The rain would clear up from time to time as we were driving but driving through the storm was a scary experience. At times we couldn’t even see the road which caused everyone’s eyes to pay close attention to the road. As time went by we were finally off the freeway and on the streets headed to the hotel. While driving on the streets I noticed that the streetlights were horizontal instead of vertical and hanging on wires instead of the signal light poles. That was interesting to see because I noticed that Atlanta’s traffic signals are similar to here. I am excited to be on this college tour! I am really looking forward to visiting all 3 colleges and exploring more of Florida!
