Atlanta College Tour ’18- Day 1

When I first got to the airport, I had a lot of mixed emotions. I was excited, nervous, and tired because I had never been on a plane that long or woke up that early. Ms. Regina really made me feel comfortable like nothing can go wrong when your with her. When we first got on the plane to las Vegas, I wasn’t nervous because it was only an hour flight and I slept the whole time. When we got off to transfer, you can tell we were in Las Vegas because there were big colorful casino slots machine. Sadly, we couldn’t use them because we were under age. We sat down and ate breakfast, we almost missed our flight but we caught it just in time. It was crowded on the plane and we weren’t able to sit next to each other. I was sitting next to a couple but they made me feel comfortable. On the plane, I wanted to sleep for an hour then woke up and I kept repeating that into the flight was over. When we got off the plane, we were about to walk the wrong way and Ms Regina let us [so that we would] learn a lesson about paying attention and knowing where we are going before we start walking. We got on the train to baggage claim and it kind of reminded me of Bart. After we got our bags, we got on a train to get a rental car. Then we got food, checked in the hotel, then we went sightseeing and took some pictures in front of a Ferris wheel and touched a horse.  Ms Regina drove us around to see Morehouse, Clark and Spelman. She told us a little bit about it and she took us to the hood of Atlanta. It looks the same as Oakland. We listened to music and bonded all the way back to the hotel.
